A New Game: Strip Conversation

Are you learning a new language to impress your girlfriend whose family is from a different country than you? Are you finding it difficult to work your way through Duolingo and feeling like you need more than just the vocabulary? I've come up with a game that you can play with your significant other to help boost your conversation skills in that new language...Strip Conversation!

The rules are simple:

1. You (the learner) and your partner (the native speaker) get fully dressed. For me, it would be more fun for me to wear women's clothes, but you do you.

2. Choose a topic of discussion.

3. The person learning the language goes first by saying a sentence that's related to the topic chosen in the language you are learning. The sentence has to have a minimum number of words. For romance languages (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.) 7 words seems reasonable, but it may be different in other languages. You and your partner can decide on the length. This avoids just saying "Si" all the time.

4. How you win:

   1. If the sentence is correct, your partner has to remove an article of clothing.

   2. If the sentence is wrong, you remove an article of clothing.

5. If you want the game to last longer, have shoes and socks be individual items. You could also include jewelry.

6. The first one naked loses (or the other person wins. your choice)
